When accused of sexual assault, you should know who to hire for help. A defense lawyer should be one of your top picks when planning to defend your case.

In Texas, a teacher has been sentenced to six years in prison after pleading guilty to an improper relationship with a 15-year-old student. The 28-year old teacher was arrested in March 2017 after police received an anonymous tip that the 7th-grade English teacher had a sexual relationship with a student in a middle school in Roanoke.

At the time of her arrest, she was eight months pregnant. An arrest warrant acquired by the police said that the pair exchanged nude photos and had sex multiple times over the 2016 summer break.

The arrest warrant noted that the teacher’s improper relationship started when “the two began sending flirty text messages to each other, which eventually led to her going over to his home.”

The teacher was sentenced for one count of sexual assault of a child and one count of an improper relationship between educator and student.

The above story is just one of the many examples of why you should consider hiring the expert when it comes to family assault. Knowing your rights and your defense will make or break your case.
