A driver who slammed into the front of a house in northwest Harris County at about 9 pm, Wednesday, might be allegedly drunk. The homeowner was in the back bedroom of his home which is located on 8200 blocks of Terrace Brook when the alarm system went off.

Homeowner Anderson rushed to the front of the building and found that a truck has run halfway in the house. The car seemed like it has rammed into a nearby parked vehicle and then traversed the homeowner’ neighbor’s driveway before hitting the Homeowner’s home.  The car damaged the window of the front room, shattering glass, wood, furniture, insulation, desk, and the computer across the room.

Neighbors told the homeowner that the driver got out of the truck and escaped immediately after the collision. The vehicle which was owned by a business owner nearby said the employee driving had been drinking. No one was injured in the crash.

If you have been arrested or facing criminal charges, an effective defense can be the deciding factor between a prison sentence and a reduced or dismissed charge. If you’ve been arrested or facing a criminal law defense case (such as immigration, criminal offense, deportation, DWI or DUI, theft, assault, drug-related assaults, etc.), it’s also crucial that you know your rights.
