A teen from Katy allegedly sexually assaulted her mother then steal her car.
According to police, the teen, 19, allegedly threatened her mother with a knife, sexually assaulted her and stole cash from her purse before fleeing with her car.
Afterward, the teen crashed the stolen vehicle and walked to a roadway where he began throwing rocks at cars, eventually striking the patrol car of a Katy police officer who arrested him.
The teen was arrested and identified as the suspect behind the alleged crime spree. He was charged with aggravated robbery, injury to an elderly person and aggravated sexual assault.
The police officials said the 65-year-old woman was taken to a local hospital and treated for non-life threatening while the teen remains in jail.
These types of cases could be best handled by an Assault lawyer and could possibly turn the luck on the teen’s side. However, failure to hire an experienced assault lawyer could bring unfortunate scenarios on the side of the defense.
