A retired Dallas-area school administrator accused of sexual assault on several teenage students will not be serving jail time.

The70-year old man pleaded guilty to five counts of injury to a child and received probation in a plea agreement with prosecutors.

The ex-school admin taught at a Catholic school in Carrollton, a private school for children with learning disabilities. The ex-school administrator helped found the school in 1998 until his retirement in 2010.

He was accused of sexually assaulting several boys between 2000 and 2006. He allegedly supplied his victims with alcohol, showed them pornographic movies and gave out cash— which one victim felt was hush money.

The ex-school administrator was arrested in 2014 after three former students complained about the alleged sexual assault when they were between the ages of 14 and 16.

In court, documents detailed that the ex-admin began to escalate into increasingly aggressive physical sexual overtures, eventually taking the teenager to his home to sexually assault.

He was given deferred adjudication probation for 10 years and could be supervised for the rest of his life.

This is just one of the many cases involving an assault. These types of criminal cases, if not properly defended by an assault lawyer, could lead to a more serious consequence rather than just bail or fine.

Assault conviction may lead to:

  • Loss of custody of your children.
  • Loss of your job
  • Loss of housing or your lease.
  • Penalties ranging from a fine of up to $500 – $10,000 and up to 2 – 20 years in prison, depending on whether the charge is classified as a misdemeanor or felony.

If you are an immigrant or a temporary citizen of the United States, you could be deported back to your home country.

Loss of the right to own or possess a firearm.
