Sexual Assault Was Charged to A Former Pastor in Houston

A Houston pastor accused of sexual assault on a 13-year-old parishioner has denied sexual contact and blamed the girl for explicit messages he sent her, according to police authorities.

The 65-year old former pastor was charged with continuous sexual abuse of a child and sexual assault of a child.

He served as the pastor of in Dallas area for nearly two decades and became the subject of an investigation in June after the teen reported the abuse.

The teen said her pastor had been having sex with her for many months, between August and December 2018. Authorities recovered screenshots of sexually explicit Instagram conversations between the girl and her pastor, including nude photos from the man, prosecutors said. The accused former pastor took the 13-year-old to his home to spend the night in August, and had sex with her in the morning, according to police.

Prosecutors say the abuse continued in October 2018, when the accused former pastor picked the girl up in a truck and allegedly had sex with her in a camper in a parking lot.

In December, when the girl was 14, the accused former pastor forced her to perform oral sex on him in the truck.

During the hearing, the accused former pastor admitted the messages were sexually explicit, and he said he and the teen had arranged plans to meet for sexual encounters.

When asked if he felt the communication was harmless, the accused former pastor said, “Well when you’re dealing with that person, it’s harmless, man, because she initiates most of that kind of stuff.”

He repeatedly blamed her for the sexually explicit messages he sent. The accused admitted to owning the camper, taking the girl shopping and spending the night together, but said there was no sexual contact between them.

Sexual Assault Accusation On a Movie Director in Texas

Sexual assault is one of the most common criminal charges in Texas.  If not defended properly by an assault lawyer, it could lead to a more serious consequence.

Just recently, a famous movie director allegedly sexually assaulted an unnamed victim — given the name Jane in the article to protect her anonymity — while she was unconscious. The reported assault occurred in 2015 after the director invited Jane to a business meeting in Manhattan to discuss collaborating on a TV pilot.

According to the victim, she began feeling “fuzzy” after having dinner with the director but still accompanied him to another bar because she “was excited about the career opportunity.” The next thing she remembered is waking up naked with the director’s “face in her crotch and his fingers inside her.”

In addition, the alleged victim sought treatment for sexual assault after her meeting with the director. Additionally, two people close to Jane reportedly confirmed that she told them about the assault immediately after it happened.

To defend the accusations against him, the director stated that the allegation is an outrageous defamatory hit piece, making extraordinarily offensive assertions that the director engaged in heinous sexual misconduct, criminal wrongdoing, and other inappropriate behavior, which are vehemently disputed and denied by the director.

Earlier this year, the director faced similar charges from his daughter who accused him of molesting her when she was a child. His daughter also accused him of taking her to visit sex workers in overseas shooting locations when she was a teen. The accused director has denied the allegations.
