Armed robbers on sexual assault to a woman at an adult bookstore where she worked. Police arrested one man and are looking for three others.
The robbery was reported just after 3 a.m., when four armed men entered the store, which is open 24 hours, according to the report.
The gunmen disarmed the security guard and took the keys to their vehicle. They then demanded cash from the employee, and two of the gunmen sexually assaulted her, according to police reports. The victim set off a panic alarm, causing the men to leave out of the back door of the building and flee in the security guard’s vehicle.
Police began a pursuit of the robbers, who fled southbound on the highway. The chase ended on Highway 59 at Aldine Mail Route Road after the suspects’ car lost control and struck a cement column under the freeway, all four ran. Police caught one suspect, and the other three are on the run.
No charges have been filed at this time against the suspect who is in custody. The employee was taken to the hospital to be evaluated.
