A Katy man faces life in prison for alleged sexual assault to his pregnant wife and three children, as both her wife and children testified during the first day of his jury trial.

However, the Katy man denied the allegation. He said that they are just having a heated argument and that everything will be okay between him and his family soon.

But his wife who lodged the complaint against him broke down on the witness stand as she told a different story.

She said that she was physically abused, punched and slapped several times especially when the time got drunk. She also added that the man was aggressive and put bass in his voice every time.

The man faces a maximum of life in prison if convicted of assaulting a pregnant woman, including his children.

The woman, who was 20 weeks pregnant at the time, called 9-1-1 to report in the incident. And have her husband arrested by the police.

The above story is just one of the many examples of why you should consider hiring an assault lawyer when it comes to family assault. Knowing your rights and your defense will make or break your case.
