Sexual Assault charges are definitely no joke. Even authorities, is accused of assault, could be charged and sentenced depending on the degree of their deeds.
A Rosenberg man who attacked and raped a woman three years ago, and whose tongue was bitten off by the victim during the attack, was convicted of sexual assault and sentenced this month to six years in prison.
The 39-year old man saw the victim at a Fort Bend County bar on Nov. 29, 2015, and asked her for a ride to his friend’s house. The woman said she knew the man from her childhood and happened to live near the friend’s house where he wanted to go.
According to the report, the man made advances, which she rejected, during the ride to the house. When they arrived, the defendant grabbed the victim by her neck and forced her inside her own home.
The victim believed she was going to die as the man choked her, then he kissed the victim and she bit off “a large portion” of his tongue. The woman was able to get away before calling the police.
