Sexual assault is one of the most common criminal charges in Texas.  If not defended properly by an assault lawyer, it could lead to a more serious consequence.

Authorities are now tracking down a man who broke into an assisted living facility and sexually assaulting an elderly woman in October 2018.

According to the officials, the man disguised himself as he walked up to the facility, broke through a locked door to get into the secure residential areas and started knocking on a 77-year-old resident’s door. Further, he claimed to be a maintenance worker with the facility and covered the peephole, prompting the elderly woman to open the door.

The moment the woman opened the door, the suspect forced his way in the room and sexually assaulted the woman before demanding money.

The man was also reportedly threatened to kill the woman if she called police before he fled the building.
