Sexual Assault Was Charged To A Horse Riding Instructor

A horse-riding instructor from Conroe has been sentenced to five years in the Texas Department of Corrections after pleading guilty to two counts of sexual assault of a child.

The 41-year old Conroe man allegedly met his victims while working as a horse-riding instructor at the family-owned business.

Police said over the course of the investigation, three girls ages 15, 16 and 17 told police they were sexually assaulted by the horse-riding instructor. He was convicted on charges stemming from the sexual assault of the 15-year-old that came forward.

According to police, the man was first arrested on the charges in 2017 when he was accused of engaging in sex at a hotel with a girl he was training at his farm.

Police officials also told the man was “feeding on their weaknesses” when he communicated with underage girls over social media platforms such as Snapchat.

In Houston, a police officer was indicted on the charge of aggravated assault by a public servant for a 2017 incident in which he allegedly kneed a man’s face.

A forty-seven-year-old man from Houston has been convicted for Sexual Assault of a Child. According to the complaint, in October 2016, police authorities responded to an allegation of sexual assault of a child. In Houston, two men were both sentenced to 15 years in prison on unrelated felony charges of Indecency with a Child by Sexual Contact

One of the accused is a 50-year old man who was convicted of Indecency with a Child by Sexual Contact after evidence was presented and revealed that the man sexually abused his victim on multiple occasions over a six-month period when she was 16 years old.

According to a press release, an investigation was launched into allegations of child sexual abuse after the victim disclosed the abuse to an investigator for the Department of Family and Protective Services (commonly referred to as Child Protective Services, or “CPS”) for unrelated reasons. Police authorities investigated the case.

During the trial, evidence showed that the accused had recently brought the victim to the United States from Nigeria with the promise of a better life.

In a separate trial, another man was also convicted on felony charges of Sexual Assault of a Child and Indecency with a Child by Sexual Contact on August 1, 2019. During the trial, evidence was presented against the 39-year old man, that he had known the victim he abused for a number of years, and that she had trusted him. During the victim’s testimony, it was revealed that the man also threatened to sexually abuse her younger sibling.

On August 2 the jury assessed 15 years in prison for Sexual Assault of a Child and 8 years for Indecency with a Child by Sexual Contact.

Sexual Assault of a Child and Indecency with a Child by Sexual Contact are both second-degree felonies punishable by 2 to 20 years in prison and a fine up to $10,000.

Sexual Assault Was Charged to A Former Pastor in Houston

A Houston pastor accused of sexual assault on a 13-year-old parishioner has denied sexual contact and blamed the girl for explicit messages he sent her, according to police authorities.

The 65-year old former pastor was charged with continuous sexual abuse of a child and sexual assault of a child.

He served as the pastor of in Dallas area for nearly two decades and became the subject of an investigation in June after the teen reported the abuse.

The teen said her pastor had been having sex with her for many months, between August and December 2018. Authorities recovered screenshots of sexually explicit Instagram conversations between the girl and her pastor, including nude photos from the man, prosecutors said. The accused former pastor took the 13-year-old to his home to spend the night in August, and had sex with her in the morning, according to police.

Prosecutors say the abuse continued in October 2018, when the accused former pastor picked the girl up in a truck and allegedly had sex with her in a camper in a parking lot.

In December, when the girl was 14, the accused former pastor forced her to perform oral sex on him in the truck.

During the hearing, the accused former pastor admitted the messages were sexually explicit, and he said he and the teen had arranged plans to meet for sexual encounters.

When asked if he felt the communication was harmless, the accused former pastor said, “Well when you’re dealing with that person, it’s harmless, man, because she initiates most of that kind of stuff.”

He repeatedly blamed her for the sexually explicit messages he sent. The accused admitted to owning the camper, taking the girl shopping and spending the night together, but said there was no sexual contact between them.
