A 23-year-old former County Sheriff’s deputy was arrested and charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child, a first-degree felony. According to reports, he was arrested for the offense that allegedly took place with a 13-year-old girl when he was off-duty.
The complaint against the former sheriff was received by the sheriff’s office Aug. 14. He was placed on administrative leave while an internal investigation commenced.

A teen from Fort Worth allegedly impersonated a cop to sexually assault an elderly woman then steal her car.
According to police, the teen, 19, impersonated a police officer and forced his way into the home of the victim. He allegedly threatened the elderly woman with a knife, sexually assaulted her and stole cash from her purse before fleeing with her car.
Afterward, the teen crashed the stolen vehicle and walked to a roadway where he began throwing rocks at cars, eventually striking the patrol car of a Fort Worth police officer who arrested him.
The teen was arrested and identified as the suspect behind the alleged crime spree. He was charged with aggravated robbery, injury to an elderly person, aggravated sexual assault, and impersonating a public servant.
The police officials said the 78-year-old woman was taken to a local hospital and treated for non-life threatening while the teen Gloria remains in jail.
